Weird how we lose Reader and the LB's seem ineffective.

Remember how Marvin used to draft a ton of LB's? Unless you get a Takeo Spikes, you need good DT's to keep lineman off your LB's or they suck.

Ineffective by what measure?

Wilson is on pace to set his highest tackle season. Same for Pratt.

Bengals have allowed around 990 rushing yards to runnningbacks this season.
Through 11 games last year the bengals allowed around 1080 yards to running backs.

In 2024 Pratt is allowing around 20 YPG in pass coverage and Logan 25. In 2023, Pratt was 25 and Wilson 34, YPG.

Not trying to defend them, but it’s not adding up for me. It’s easy to think reader would have fixed all this, but it’s not exactly true. QBs making first downs with their legs has been our kryptonite on defense. 25% of the rush yards are from QB, and it is a momentum killer. Herbert did it 3x in the first half last night.
