If the 49ers tender Jordan Mason at his originally drafted round (UDFA) because they don't want to/can't put $5m into a 2nd round tender for a backup RB, I wouldn't mind the Bengals checking in on signing him.
The worry with the 49ers is they have a history of taken undrafted backs and making them good. I doubt he comes here and replicates that.
