Under 150 innings of over 3.50 ERA baseball isn't really an "ace", "stud", or "legit hammer".
He had a 115 ERA+.
Andrew Abbott had a 118 ERA+.
So he was slightly worse than Abbott and last year was the first time he has thrown >65 innings since High School.
After the All-Star break he had 12 starts for 38.2 innings and a 5.12 ERA while allowing 1.9 HR/9.
