I've never understood why Locked On Reds had so much love for Rooker and constantly pushed for the Reds to trade for him. Most of their ideas and theories are kind of out there, but they provide a lot of content for a below .500 team so I mostly give them a pass.

I'm not saying that Singer is good enough to compare to Crochet, but I think that he has already filled out what they were looking for during this off season, depth at the starters position. They didn't need much of an improvement because the starting staff is very talented, just still a bit too young.

One rare idea of the guys on Locked On Reds that I really liked was the thought of possibly moving Lodolo to the bullpen if his blister issue comes back. Less pitches means less friction on the fingers. He could be lights out for two innings every other day or so.
