I think it would be really tough to tell Joe and Jamarr that they're supposed to lose. I don't think you want players that accept that in any circumstance.
Additionally, I think it would hurt the players that you're trying to develop by setting them up to fail.
I understand the whole Tanking thing, but my mind doesn't accept it.
However, I have been known to throw a game of pool with my son from time to time.
He hates to lose even more than I do.
