Meanwhile, Chase Brown is doing even better than Mixon was earlier in the year, so looks like we made the right decision after all.
The only thing Mixon is the clear leader in is rushing TDs (11 vs. 7), otherwise it's a wash or Chase is better than him in everything else, in only 40 more snaps.

I have always liked Brown. Though the one fumble was costly. Ball security is all Mixon has on him.
However, since Mixon and Brown were both on the team already, the proper framing is Mixon/Brown vs Moss/Brown + money saved.
Brown would still be second string if Moss had not gotten hurt. That tells you something about the coaches. Of course, if Mixon had stayed, Brown would still be 2nd string as well.
But I'd take Mixon over Moss, any day. Coaching blunders aside, I like Brown + Mixon the best.
