I am the furthest thing from a Volson defender, but I think Carman might just be a turd and quite possibly will be out of the NFL next year.
Step 1: Have a good enough of a defense that you can get INTO the playoffs.
Lou couldn't get past that step either of the last two years to show off his playoff defense.
