The reports I'm seeing are that Zac was the one that made the call on firing them. I don't know if that is confirmed. 

I don't know how much the lousy defense was Lou and how much it was the lousy draft picks. I'd  loved to be a fly on the wall as the draft boards were constructed in recent years in order to discern how much input the coaches gave into the draft picks and whose to blame for those picks. Regardless, it was clear that something had to happen on defense and the OL side of coaching. My suspicion is that, given the small scouting department, the coaches were also responsible in a large part for the lousy drafting. We might not only improve the defense and OL but also the drafting.
