The fact Lou was able to help get the Bengals in to the Super Bowl with talent like Eli Apple I think shows he did a pretty good job. He has never had an overly talented group of guys to work with. Hendrickson and Bates are the only Pro Bowlers and Bates is gone. Reader was really good against the run but not one of the best pass rushers and now he is gone. When you speak of the job Lou has done and where his defenses rank over the year just also remember the talent he had and what they had done before and after leaving Cincinnati.
