To your question - if the management hired a QB coach as a HC, then I would think they may consider Parker as DC.
I would like to see veteran DL and LB coaches to surround him if we do hire him.
Your logic makes perfectly good sense, it's just with the pressure of Burrow's peak years and gaining a title, as to weather they would go the 1st time DC route again; after the way the Anarumo situation turned out. That is not to say that I'm comparing the two, just noting the one common factor.
