Then run some more QB sneak. I've seen few better QB's than JB getting those yards. They have to with the mindset that we have two downs to get two yards and DO NOT run horizontal and do not hand the ball off deep in the backfield. I've seen that way too much.Get your traction, get momentum going forward and let your average OL get vertical and lay bodies on a defense instead of a defender beating these slow SOB's and shooting into a gap for a 3 yard loss..
Having to rely on 4th and 2/4th and 1 all the time and throwing deep fades along the sideline even in bad weather is far too big of a risk/reward. Players get bumped at the LOS, they slip, etc.
I've also seen way too much that when do get the ground game going in a game and are finally getting some momentum that they give up on it too easily. Biggest example of that was the Raiders game and having a 3-4 TD lead with 11 minutes to go in the game. Cinci. just completed a 10 yard pass to their TE to put the ball at their own 35 and rather than miking the clock like any team in any league with even half a brain, they throw an ignorant screen 2-3 yards behind the LOS to Chase that gets picked for 6.
