One of my brothers put a .357 under chin/neck and pulled the trigger. He never was able to handle break-ups or traumatic life events very well. It was mental illness that our family chose to ignore until it was too late.
At this point, the kid is in definite dire need for some professional mental evaluation and consoling. Let's all maybe stop taking shots at him and hope/pray that he gets the help he needs. Human being first. Football should be in the back seat for him right now.
I'm sorry about your brother. That is tough. I lost a son, and the horror lies with me daily.
