You are Katie, which contract do you finalize first?

Uhh...the Eagles are paying both AJ Brown and Devonta Smith a combined $57 mil APY against the cap.  Not to mention Barkley is the 3rd highest paid RB APY.

While I get the impact of the Eagles DL on the SB, gotta remember their offense set an NFL record for most points scored in the postseason.  They built that team by drafting studs on defense and paying their established offensive stars.

Joe has hinted at restructuring his deal. I think Katie has have Joe's deal first, so she knows exactly the cap dollars she has available. Next, I would do Chase, he will break the bank and need to know how much. She could stand pat and have him play on 5th year option, but if me I would extend him for 5 or 6 years. Next, I would extend Trey, he earned an extension and raise. Last of the big 4 I would attempt to sign Tee with either the intent to keep him for 4 or 5 years or trade him.

What would you do if Katie?

Well, we should Tag Tee first so we can get something for him if he does leave. Then work on the Ja'Marr extension.

Depends on what the Front Office wants to do about Tee Higgins. If I'm calling the shots, I get Ja'Marr Chase done first, then Trey Hendrickson. I tag and trade Tee. I like Tee and would pay him too if he were more durable. I would tell Trey and his agent that with this extension, there will be no more reworking deals. He signs a new contract, he honors it. He deserves to get paid but the front office has treated him fair and has worked with his agent in good faith.

But if they're SERIOUSLY going to try and retain Tee it needs to happen ASAP! Like you say if he gets to free agency it's very, VERY, unlikely we retain him. But the need to restructure Ja'Marr and Trey soon as well. We don't need distractions again come OTA time.

They've got a lot of work to do.

Goodberry, Dale and a few others on Twitter alluded to the fact that they are going to tag him 100% to avoid his getting poached and then work on the contract at that point, so they may buy time with that.

The Bengals dont have the scouting department the Eagles do so I hope you dont expect they are going to draft studs on defense to turn the defense around.  They will need to bring in stud free agents.  The Bengals do seem to do better drafting WRs so let Tee walk, draft his replacement and use the money saved on defense.

Extend Tee - this needs to happen before free agency
Extend Gesicki - this should happen before free agency but there’s maybe more wiggle room here
Sign external free agents
Trade Trey - this needs to be before the draft
Extend Chase - this needs to be before training camp

And Hendrickson, too.

Penny wise & pound foolish.

But I'd prioritize:

1) Tee (the actual FA)
2) Trey (guy making most demands)
3) Chase (the actual best player of the 3, but he cannot get away forc2 more years).

I'll tag Tee again if I have too. Burrow rea6ructure is high as well.

I'd tag Tee, but let him know upfront that it's a formality and we wanna get a deal done. That's the opposite of last off-season.

Jesus I’d be happy if they sign anyone. They may be waiting on Hobson to let them know what they have to work with.

Yes sir, the lack of communication has been the most alarming part of the situations with all of these players. If you Tag a player you want to
extend make him know that it is a formality and that a contract extension is on the way. Looking back, we should of done this with Bates as
well even if at the time I thought we could live without him and I was wrong at the time about this.

We know what we have in Tee, unlike a Draft pick, but his injury history has to be taken into account.

Tee's extension should be full of incentives.
