You don't have to dump on your teammate.... but you also don't have to go in front of cameras and microphones and call Bill Cosby Jr a model citizen.
There's a world of middle ground of still being a good teammate between adamantly defending Watson and publically dumping on Watson. He chose to ignore all of it. Note the only two people who publicly rallied to Watson were Winston (who also has his own murky past in that category) and Garrett. Everyone else on the team kept their mouths closed.
