People mention that you get more out of players when they play with the a better QB… it’s really really hard to find those examples, especially when they are in that Darius Slayton mold. You might get a 10% bump, but expecting more is fools gold.
Amari cooper (better than Slayton over his career)… was a 1,100 yard guy with Oakland, Dallas and Cleveland regardless of QB situation.
Brandin cooks (also better), was an 1,100 yard guy with NO, NE, LAR and Houston… irregardless of QB.
Mohamed Sanu went from dalton to HOF Matt Ryan.

One is the best season with dalton, the other one is with Matt Ryan. Now, dalton is better than Daniel Jones, but I think the point is relevant. It’s like this with 95%+ of FA WRs
There are likely exceptions… but normally you are what you are.
Yeah... I don't get the infatuation with Darius Slayton. He's better than anybody on our roster south of Tee Higgins, but he's in no way a suitable replacement for Tee. May as well just roll with Yoshi at WR 2 and get that third year bounce. Either way our offense gets worse.
