Xavier Watts in the 2nd round makes much more sense to me to fill a hole.
I get what you are saying but I see Emmanwori as being a difference maker at Safety. He’s big but he ran a 4.38 and had a 43” vertical so he’s plenty athletic enough to cover or do whatever you need back there.
I think Battle can be solid but does not have that kind of game changing potential.
I think Emmanwori can be that guy for this defense - pro bowl level player that can be a factor vs the run or the pass.
Then again maybe I just got my skirt blown up by that combine workout.
Either way he got my vote.
