They managed to avoid overpaying Uzomah (who I just realized I guess is getting a SB ring now), they managed to avoid overpaying Hurst. Well done, don't overpay mediocre TEs who are being propped up by Burrow throwing the ball a ton (I mean, career freaking practice squad scrub Tanner Hudson at the age of 29 with 199 career receiving yards had over 350 yards with Burrow). Then they go and overpay Gesicki when he doesn't even block.

I was really hoping for them to finally get a younger more talented solution at TE.
