Likely got a 10 million signing bonus and 2 million base salary for 2025. Bengals could choose to assign 3 million of bonus towards 2025 cap. That makes cap hit in 2025 only 5 milliion.
When you have the highest paid QB, highest paid WR, highest paid WR2, a DE who needs to get paid, need 2 OG, 1 more DE and DT, need CB1….can we really afford a TE? Should we afford a TE? We don’t know the structure so you cant say it’s a $5m cap hit. Even if it is, we have much bigger needs. This scares me that they don’t think they’ll be able to sign all big 3.
