Bears Interested In Hendrickson?!
#12
Just for some perspective I calculated values on these deals I used a draft value chart: https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp
There are other ways to calculate value and in the real world things don't work this way but I still think it is helpful to see the numbers.

#1
17 Cin 1st = -950
118 Cin 4th = -58
10 Chi 1st = 1300
72 Chi 3rd = 230

Net points = 522

Of course if we think that there isn't much dropoff from pick 10 to pick 17, the points matter less. Or you'd need to find someone else to trade down with which is difficult and historically unlikely given it is the Bengals.

#2
72 Chi 3rd = 230

Maybe there is a later conditional pick or player being offered as well here? If not and I were Cinci I would not take this deal straight up and hopefully they have set the expectation with Trey that they want at least a 2nd (above 450 points total value).

#3
39  Chi 2nd = 510
or
41  Chi 2nd = 490

#4
194 Cin 6th = -13.8 (rounding to -14)
39  Chi 2nd = 510
41  Chi 2nd = 490

Net Points: 986

#5
80 Cin 3rd = -190
39 Chi 2nd = 510
72 Chi 3rd  = 230

Net Points: 550

Edit: I assume a 2nd round pick would be where the Bengals' floor is at because the Bengals have at least a chance at getting a 3rd comp for Trey if he plays his final year with us and then leaves. Of course that pick would not come back right away (it would be received in 2027) and it could be impacted by a number of other factors including: Other FA signing and departures that year; If Trey starts with another team in 2026; And if the NFL tries to mess us over on what we are due again.
