Drafting has been an issue but coaches developing young players has been worse. Marvin Lewis was able to develop and get snaps out of the majority of his draft picks. At one point Marvin & the Bengals had the most draft picks still playing across in the NFL. Since Zac Taylor took over they have had a very spotty track record getting young players on the field.  This was also the #1 reason Lou Anarumo was fired.
