If Burrow isn't kept healthy, nothing else matters. Need to be able to pass protect and probably just as importantly, run the ball, for that.
I fully agree they need a better defense, but that doesn't mean you neglect the OL. Trenches on both sides should always be a priority if it's not currently good. Waaaay too many mentions of Kirkland, Ford, Volson, Lee. A sea of backups and PS players is not a solution. (The DL at least theoretically have the higher round draft status to be some sort of reasonable-ish false hope.)
I agree, teams who build the trenches on both sides of the ball are more likely to have post season success.
I am hopeful we add a starting guard either Scherff or if healthy Hernandez (first choice if he is ready by TC). My 2nd choice is Risner. I am not sure why he is not on Bengal's or other guard needy team's radar.
