Might be an unpopular take but I don't like it. NFL records should be for NFL times.
The same way that Ichiro isn't the hit king because his hits in Japan don't count, and Sadaharu Oh doesn't hold the MLB record for most career home runs.
All this does is people are going to have to start adding "in the Super Bowl era" when they talk about all the records, because that's what people actually care about.
