I briefly heard them discussing it on NFL network over the weekend. They mentioned Chicago could be a destination, they may build a new stadium so Bengals and Bears could share a stadium. Chicag and surrounding areas are huge and could support 2 teams.
Why not? If they can't get a deal done with the county, what's to keep them here.... fans that criticize everything they do, mock the owner for being a cheapskate and bash the players constantly? Heck, they can get all that in Chicago too. I cannot even imagine how heartbroken I'd be if they left, but don't for a minute think that if Katie and Troy think they can make more money someplace like Chicago they won't be out the door in a heartbeat. The old man, maybe not so much, but face it, he's on borrowed time as it is. I'd probably stay a fan of the team if it went somewhere like SA, but I can't see myself supporting a Chicago team.
