Dylan Fairchild used a lunchpail to motivate
Georgia’s home contest against Tennessee was one of the biggest of the season. The Bulldogs were coming off a home loss to Ole Miss and needed a win to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
So to motivate his teammates, Fairchild brought a beaten up lunchpail into Georgia’s locker room prior to the game. He wanted to instil a blue-collar mentally so his team would outwork Tennessee.
That proved to be the case, with the Bulldogs picking up a 31-17 home win over the Volunteers. The win proved massive for Georgia, who went on to make and win the SEC Championship game.
