A local Georgia beat writer, Jordan Hill, projected the ravens to take him in the third.
MY PREDICTION
Fairchild goes 91st overall (3rd round) to the Baltimore Ravens.
I don't think Fairchild will go as high in the draft as Ratledge, but I'm very high on Fairchild's potential. He was incredibly reliable while at Georgia, and I think a smart front office will pounce on him during the second day of the draft.
My money is on the Ravens being that smart front office. Baltimore needs help at guard, and I think the decision makers are sharp enough to know that they can wait a few rounds to fill that need. The Ravens' draft may be one full of Dawgs based on my earlier prediction that they would snag Malaki Starks toward the end of the first round.
