He'll be 31 in December, so I say let him seek a trade and see what kind of contract another team offers, on top of the trade compensation.

I'd offer him a deal with incentives. 

Or maybe they're just waiting to get all the picks signed and to see if he have any other big needs.

I'm just nervous about offering a guy big money long-term when he'll be 31 when the contract starts.
