And they thought so much of him, they low balled his contract despite being slotted and the money already worked out for them.
The lack of sacks are concerning not going to lie and say they aren't, but Shemar Stewart may have been the most disruptive DL in college
for the Defense he played in. He had tons of pressures, caused sacks for others, shut down the run because he is great at sealing the edge.
He needs to keep his head up and learn to finish. In an NFL Defense that has pure pass rush sets he should start getting the sacks. The A&M
DL lined up so tight to the OL trying to shut down the run it wasn't easy to get sacks especially when Shemar was always getting chipped and
doubled.
