Is Shemar holding out?

He has zero moves and not much more ability to disengage from OTs. He has no bend and not very much change of direction and he has bad body control when he gets up to speed, and this is against college competition. He's going to need a huge huge jump to be even decent in the NFL. Sorry if i can't get excited about a top 20 pick that can "set the edge". Watched Sam Hubbard for a long time and this guy has a bit to go to get to his level.

I don't think i even saw a single, basic spin move in any of these games and he wasn't remotely disruptive. And these are against good college offenses, steps below even the average NFL offenses he's going to see from now on.

You've got this guy blown up into some kind of monster-in-waiting and he's simply not.

Eh, no you showed in this tape Shemar Stewart blowing up the run game, getting pressures and being very disruptive. Trey Hendrickson
hardly ever uses a spin move either. I watched a lot of game tape, the only time he wasn't disruptive was when he went against the LSU
OT who went top five in the Draft. He played very good in that Texas, ND and Florida tape. He was chipped and doubled constantly.

The narrative that he has no bend or change of direction is just completely false. He needs body control though for sure and he needs to
keep his head up. You are just trying to hate on the guy from what I am seeing here. Sure the LSU Tackle handled him, but he was chipped
and doubled in that tape as well.

Shemar Stewart is extremely young and has all the tools to be taught to be a great pass rusher. All of his weaknesses are fixable, you can
not teach his size, strength, speed and lightning quick first step. You can teach spin and swim moves and keeping your head up and body
control. Thanks for the tape though Rfaulk, I like a lot of it.
