Feels like they dont even have the space to give Trey what he wants.
They've intentionally chosen all throughout the offseason to have less cap space. We're 20th in combined AAV and the obvious inevitability of Pratt being replaced by one of the two rookie LBs puts us around 23rd. There's 7 teams with at least $50m more in AAV on their team. The Eagles right now are $114m above us.
The majority of the league has more players making more money on their team and kept under the cap, so any inability right now is entirely self-inflicted or self-imposed. We have the 8th most cap space in football in 2026.
