He wants a high-dollar multi-year deal, which at his age is not a smart move for the team. I agree he deserves a raise, but he is still under a contract HE signed. To me, he is coming off as a child whining to the press every day about the situation and saying he won't play under the deal he signed. I don't blame him for asking, but if he's not happy, he needs to play out his contract like a man who honors his word, then sign somewhere else. Only, he knows that won't happen because he will be yet another year older. If he wants the big deal, he should have a great season and show the rest of the league he was worth the Bengals' asking price. If he thinks he is going to win a head-butting contest with Mike Brown, he's in for an education. He'll sit him for the season out of spite. As it is, if the Bengals gave him everything he asked for, there's nothing to keep him from coming back next year wanting more again. I mean, this is several years in a row now. This is his fault for having a lousy agent and his fault for signing a deal he doesn't want to keep. I'm to the point I don't really care if he plays or not, just stop whining.
