And the 16 million he was supposed to get this year increased with an offer of 28 million. He signed his 60 million dollar deal, then redid it and got an extra 21 million, which he now wants to do and turned down the 12 million dollar raise they offered him for this year. There seems to be two parallel, yet conflicting, trains of thought going on in this and other threads. On one hand, the Bengals should sign players early to save money when the market goes up, and on the other hand, the Bengals should just let players demand new contracts every year they are here if they don't feel like they are making enough.
Well if those players are the triple crown holder and the sack leader heck yes let them complain and they should be paid early and often.
