Depends on how they right the contract. If they give him 4 years of guaranteed money then sure.If its a standard NFL contract than no it won't effect them that much.

I don't totally disagree, but you can't ignore he is under contract right now for 15.8 million. It is a big ask to demand the Bengals almost double his 2025 guaranteed money.

I have said it many times, restructure for 2025 with incentives for sacks and games played. Make him earn the extra raise in 2025, I think if Trey feels he will get 15 to 18 sacks again, he should not be offended he has to produce to get it.

Rumors are he was offered 28 million guaranteed in 2025, yet said no. Which side is attempting to compromise and which side is not?
