Depends on how they right the contract. If they give him 4 years of guaranteed money then sure.If its a standard NFL contract than no it won't effect them that much.
If 30 mil is not overpaying, then 28 mil should not be considered underpaying it is just a 2-mil difference not a huge amount of money considering the pay per year.
