Fortunately for the Bengals, Trey ended up taking a big jump the next two seasons going from 8 sacks when he got the extension to 17.5 so it ultimately worked out to benefit the Bengals. If Trey's production had fallen the past two years like Hubbards, people would be questioning that decision. Our fans on this very forum were certainly questioning the extension when it happened.
