Since they are talking to Trey again I wonder where it all finally lands? Maybe if cash on hand is the issue they come up with some kind of staggered guarantee so he feels respected and it is something they can actually perform. Say a 2 year extension starting next season for 30 million per with a 20 million signing bonus and an additional 20 million guaranteed? So his payouts become 36 million the year and 30 million each of the next 2. Cap hits become 22.5 million this year and 36.5 million each of the next 2?
