This stat isn't "#of injuries". It takes into consideration value of players. We have not faced an "inordinate amount".
McKinley Jackson, Kris Jenkins, BJ Hill, and Sheldon Rankins never all missed the same games.
Jackson: Missed weeks 1-4
Jenkins: Missed weeks 1-2
BJ Hill: Missed weeks 3-4
Rankins: Missed 3-5 & 12-15
For the 1st two weeks, we had our starting DTs. Week 3-4, we're missing 3 of our top 4, and week 5, we missed 1 of our top 4.
So in your eyes going into a game missing 3 of 4 Defensive Tackles is not an inordinate number of injuries at that position. And it's not just played, but Jenkins had his hand in a club cast when he played so he basically was playing one handed.
