In 9 games: 20 receptions on 22 targets for 158 total yards, 17.6 yards per game. I don't know much about other aspects of his game like blocking. I might be wrong but it seems like I remember others saying he was fairly good at it. I think mostly the hype is based on his perceived potential.

Overall, Sample is the better blocker, hence my statement.
As I and other have noted, All was an asset due to not tipping the offense's hand.
All is the better blocker in space and moving (pulling), but Sample is much stronger, better anchor and can actually block DEs fairly consistently.
All is the more complete player, as his route running is better, more athletic and can block well, but can't catch as well as Gesicki and can't block as well as Sample.
It was the perfect, "one blocker, one pass catcher, one hybrid," that we had last year.
But after the botched first surgery (because it shouldn't have torn again if done properly), this will indeed be tricky for him to come back.
