The definition of a pressure is, in and of itself, subjective. Specifically, this is subjective around the definition of a hurry.

The subjective part is determining "before they are ready."
It's commonly debated in football circles, as some think it's just whenever a defender gets within X feet of the QB, could be when a defender gets by/beats the OL, etc.
Different QBs also are "hurried" differently based on their comfortability having a guy get close to them.
At the end of the day, if someone doesn't like that hurries are somewhat subjective, they probably shouldn't care about hurries at all. Just care about hits and sacks, as those are much more objective.
