Garrett signed for over 40 million APY and you think Parsons will sign for 4 or 5 years for only 100 million???? Contracts are going up so Parsons is not Garrett, but neither are the QB's being paid around the same money Burrow makes.

I think Parson's would command 4 years 155 to 160 million and 5 years 185 to 190 million. I see no way Bengals give up a 1st round pick ane then pay Parsons. One last point is 1st round picks keep down a team's cap costs for 4 or 5 years, trade pick and lose a value added 1st round pick on the roster.

 We haven’t drafted a superstar caliber Defensive Lineman in 15 years( Hubbard and Lawson were good but not at that level). If giving up a first RD pick gets a superstar then get rid of the first rd pick.
