At Ohio St, TEs are expected to block. They aren't usually just big receivers.
I salute Klare for leaving a target-rich environment at Purdue to go try to become well-rounded at Ohio St if that's true.
With that said though, if Ohio St uses him like they do other TEs, he'll be more of a balanced TE and likely be used less in the passing game but get far more experience blocking.
That can be great for his overall development, but it might result in less stats put up, which may end up keeping him more under the radar come draft time.
