The issue with limited resources is completely the Bengals making. They could've easily structured things to have the room to easily sign him. I also think so many contracts the final year doesnt even count as players are just released if they aren't living up to the contract value that it seems the "years" part of the contract should almost be a non issue.
I still think the contract gets done. But no matter where you stand on Trey wanting to pay him or not I am curious if people will be upset if we dont sign him or any other players after freeing up more cap space. I see no reason at all we shouldn't be spending the available cap space we still have this year.
