Have you ever sold anything in your life? 

If so you were motivated by 2 things:

You no longer wanted/needed it

You wanted to get as much as possible for it.

I wonder how many here would applaud the Bengals if they traded him for a conditional pick and gave a reasoning of "It's all he was worth to us"
