Especially considering they’d have more cap room after those deals if they structured the deals differently. They purposefully didn’t.

And they could have signed both earlier and saved millions.

The took a guy with their FRP who was absolutely a reach and now may not even sign him. And the second rounder, the 25 y/o everyone thinks will start day one, is also unsigned.

Didn’t do nearly enough to fix the OL. Which should surprise no one.

They’re inept. And it’s beyond frustrating.

But that only works if you hold players to their signed deal, and not cave in to them wanting a new deal everytime the market resets. Otherwise, they are basically all one year deals.
