Ian Rapoport confirmed, this AM, that bengals sent a new contract offer to Trey within the last couple of days. Maybe they agreed on money and not years (bengals 2, Trey wanting more). With the Watt signing, maybe the bengals pushed it to 3, keeping AAV the same. I am just speculating, obviously.
"Trey Hendrickson, they're excellent edge rusher, sack leader in the NFL last year, still wants a new contract, still wants to get paid, set to make $16 million this year, not expected to play for that," Rapoport said on NFL Network. "At least a raise likely is coming. The Bengals have made several offers, including a recent one, over the course of the last couple of days.
