Seeing how none of the draft and develop technique has worked out well with several players drafted in recent years (yes, the jury is still out on a couple), it's very important to keep what star power they have on the defense. Let's be real here, with the money the are potentially going to spend on Trey, it's not like they're going to invest it in some can't miss up and coming players that somehow their current teams just allowed them to float off to the Bengals.
I mean, I'm hoping for guys like Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai to come into their own as much as the next fan, but I'm not counting on much excitement.
