Here's the thing, they don't need to spend huge to upgrade the IOL. There are still a few veterans out there who are battle tested and fully ready to plug and play for a moderate to modest year's pay. Brandon Scherff, anyone??

Instead they team did what they always resort to, the cheapest possible "fix".
