I'm starting to think this is the path. If Trey sits out the year, we're probably never going to see him in stripes again. Stewart likely has pissed everyone off and I don't see him every getting the developmental help he needs. Pretty much burned up that opportunity by not being able to shut the hell up. I'm putting him in the John Ross/Jackson Carmen camp at this point if he ever plays here. Frankly, I think he's just a huge distraction right now and don't really care if he ever plays.
Training camp has started and we need to have the whole team on the field practicing. Give Trey a final offer that they think they can afford and if he can't bring himself to play for that, then let's get some guys in here that do want to be here. Time for screwing around is long over. Let's get moving.
