All I know is that I'm rooting for him to become a Bengal. I liked what I saw from the Offense in 12 personnel last season.

In addition to that, does he want to be the big fish in a little pond or the small fish on the Bengals. If he gets a log-term guarantee laden contract, he will take it wherever it is offered. 

Otherwise; I think it comes down to immediate dollars first, then potential for more dollars. Fant's potential for future earnings with Bengals may not be high, because Gesicki will get most of the TE targets.
