Neither defending or attacking the Bengals FO by saying this, but I think Schefter just made some numbers up...

He says yeah, shrugs, nods his head a few times and says it depends on who you're asking. Then says "But ***I*** would say" rather than "I have been told" or "according to a source" and then says "anywhere between" and looks up to the ceiling as he's totally making up a number but then says 5 straight different numbers in a row.

Rappaport will say "I don't know" if he doesn't know.
Schefter will not.

That whole answer, body language, words, and tone just stank of making it up on the spot. Lol
