2nd round picks are much longer.
Of the 2017 2nd round draft class only 11 of the 32 failed to be on a roster in 2024 (aka, their 8th year since being drafted).
32/32 of the 2021 2nd round draft class (so last year was their 4th year) were on a team in 2024.
Another great stat that most wouldn't think to look up. I've been optimistic on Knight since he was drafted, for a team that really needed to hit on some draft picks, he seems like a pretty good prospect.
